News update - Another good week for horses purchased by Mark with the impressive winners Stragetic Approach at Chepstow, Quartano at Folkestone and Chain of Command at Hereford (14th December 2009)

Mark Pitman’s racing experience spans throughout his lifetime, born into the world of racing he has successfully won over 300 races as a jockey, successfully trained over 220 winners and been involved in buying racehorses for over 20 years.  His expert “eye” is sought by many owners, trainers and indeed other agents as his experience in selecting the right horse at the right price is well known throughout the racing industry.  Mark has built up a reputation for providing a personal service to owners, trainers and breeders and many first time buyers. 

Results speak for themselves, 60% of the horses that Mark has purchased and that have run have proved to be winners, to name but a few:

Hennessy - 5 time winner and 5 time place from 19 starts winning prize money of £117,574. He was the winner of the Bet365 Gold Cup Chase (Grade 3) (Class 1) at Sandown on his latest start.

Roll Along - 7 times winner and 3 places from 12 starts winning prize money of £146,363. He achieved an RPR of 163 for his latest victory on 1st November 2008 at Ascot. He finished close up 5th in the 2009 Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Quartano (Ger) - winner of 2 bumpers including EBF Open National Hunt flat race (Class 1) in 2007. Winner twice over hurdles in 2009.

Voice of Reason - won his only two starts including a Listed race the "Tote Sport Standard Open National Hunt flat race (Listed race) (Class 1).

Monsignor - 8 times winner including the Weatherby's Champion Bumper (Grade 1) and the Royal & Sun Alliance Novice hurdle (Grade 1) both at the Cheltenham festival.  He is still the current holder of the track record over 2.5 miles.

Ever Blessed - 6 times winner including Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup (Class A) and Mercedes Benz handicap chase (Class B).

Dempsey - 9 times winner including the 2007 Celebration Chase (Grade 2), the Fraser Steele Handicap Chase (Grade 3), the Ladbrokes.com Handicap chase (Class 2) and 2nd in the Queen Mother Champion chase (Grade 1).

Run for Paddy - 10 times winner including Gala Casinos Scottish Grand National (Grade 3), William Hill Poker handicap chase (Class B), Tote Scoop 6 Grimthorpe chase (Class B) and Cheltenham.co.uk handicap hurdle (Class B).

Den of Iniquity - winner of 2 bumpers including Totesport Standard Open National Hunt Flat race (Listed race) in 2007. Winning on his debut over hurdles in 2009 and also winner over fences in 2009.
